Fun Fall Learning Activity- Pumpkin Patch Number Match

Looking for a fun fall learning activity for your preschooler? Check out this fun Pumpkin Patch Number Match that I created. Fall is here and Halloween is just around the corner so it’s the perfect time for this learning activity.

Fun Fall learning activity. Pumpkin Patch Number Match activity for practicing counting to 20. Pumpkins cut out and placed in a sensory bin with oats.

All you have to do is download, print, laminate, cut and play!

Pumpkin Patch Number Match activity cut and laminated.

We used our Pumpkin Patch Number Match game in a sensory bin to make it a little extra awesome. We used oats in our bin (if you want to know how to make colored oats, check it out here!) I wanted to show the numbers on the pumpkins for the purpose of taking a picture. However, when we actually played the game we tucked the pumpkins “in the ground” (further into the oats) to hide the numbers and make it a bit harder to find the match.

How do you play this fun fall learning activity?

Simply count the seeds on the pumpkin and search for the pumpkin that shows the correct number in standard form. For example, if your child counts one seed, then he/she has to look for the pumpkin that has “1” on it.
