FREE Printables for Fathers Day

Mamas, did Father’s Day sneak up on ya? Father’s Day is just around the corner! Don’t fret though- I’ve got you covered! Check out this free Father’s Day craft for your kids to make to give to their awesome Dad/Grandpa/Papa/that special person in their life! No doubt that this gift is a definite keeper and one that will be cherished forever.

I’ve got two great Father’s Day printables for you!

The 1st Printable:

The first printable is a portrait template. Your child can decorate the face however he/she likes and make it look just like their Dad/Grandpa/Papa/etc. I included different titles on each printable so you have options to choose from. I also made four different face templates. One template with a shirt and tie, one blank template (so your child can draw whatever clothing they like), one template with a T-shirt and one template with a button-down shirt. I suggest printing on cardstock so that your little one can use plenty of glue, paint and different materials to create their portrait. The heavier the paper, the better it will withstand your little one’s awesome creation.

Fathers Day Portrait Craft
Jackson’s portrait of his dad!

Take out all the craft supplies you have and let your kiddo go wild! My son, Jackson, had so much fun creating this portrait of his dad! He even used DIY puffy paint for part of his portrait. I know my husband will love and adore my son’s creativity. So definitely let your little one get as creative as they want!

The 2nd Printable:

Father's Day Questionnaire

The second part of this adorable craft is a questionnaire that is all about Dad/Grandpa/whoever you choose. Oh my goodness, just wait until you hear your little one’s answers to these questions! The answers will no doubt be so cute and I bet some answers will be quite unexpected! Have your child write their answers to the questions on the paper. My son is too young to write so I wrote his answers in for him.

Finishing Your Craft:

So how did I complete this lovely craft? Well, I chose to glue them together back-to-back. I was then going to laminate it but my son chose to use puffy craft materials so I was no longer able to run it through the laminator. Another cute idea would be creating binder holes on the sides and stringing them together or tying little bows through the holes. Any way that your child chooses to present this gift, it is sure to be a keeper.

Hope you all enjoy this cute craft/gift idea for Father’s Day! Share pics of the fun portraits and funny answers your kids come up with! I’d love to see!

*Suggestion for Printing*

Set the printer to “borderless” printing so that the border does not get cut off. It is also best to print on cardstock rather than standard printing paper.
